William Rompkey

Appointed to the Senate by the Rt. Honourable Jean Chrétien, Senator William Rompkey represents the province of Newfoundland, now known as Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Senatorial Division of North West River, Labrador. He has served in the Senate of Canada since September 22, 1995.

Quebec Forum

During summer of 2007, a senate initiative brought Liberal members of Parliament to 14 regions in Quebec in a vast public consultation to identify the needs and preoccupations of Quebecers.
